About me
With 14 years of experience in Taupo real estate, I have built my reputation on being straightforward, honest and easy to deal with. I understand that buying or selling property can feel overwhelming, so I focus on keeping the process clear, well managed and as stress-free as possible. My clients can expect practical advice, regular communication and an approach that always puts their best interests first.
Before beginning my real estate career, I spent 18 years working as a self-employed builder in Taupo. That experience gave me an extensive understanding of residential construction, workmanship and the qualities that contribute to a well-built home. It allows me to assess property with a practical eye, recognise features that may influence buyers and help sellers understand how their home can be positioned effectively in the market.
Having worked across both building and real estate for more than three decades, I offer a combination of knowledge that few agents can match.
I have lived in Taupo for 48 years and called many of its suburbs home. As a true local, I have seen the area grow and change, giving me valuable insight into its neighbourhoods, properties and community.
Outside of real estate, I am proud to be an active member of the Taupo community. I coach boxing at Nuki's Boxing Gym and have also helped train a local under 15 rugby team. I am often described as a jovial hard case, but above all, as a decent and honest person.
