Richard's career began in 2011, with five years spent managing Commercial portfolios and Bodies Corporate. Experience that gave me a strong foundation in compliance, communication, and asset protection.
Since 2016, Richard has been proudly part of the LJ Hooker Dunedin team, focusing on residential property management with a commitment to quality service, transparency, and long-term results for landlords and tenants alike. In 2023, Richard took the next step in my professional journey by purchasing the business with friend and business partner Renee Smith, a move that reflects their shared vision for raising the standard in local property management.
During Richard's time at LJ Hooker as Operation Manager, the team has been awarded top LJ Hooker Property Management office 3 time since 2020/21 and himself awarded Top Performance Manager 2022/23, and most recently was part of and a driving factor in the Property Management Teams Captain award 2024/25.
As both an owner and property investment manager, Richard understands the value of clear communication, proactive care, and attention to detail.
