Rick started selling real estate in 1969 with Beltons Mt Eden branch on Dominion Road.
In 1973 he became an Associate of the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand and in 1974 ran his own business; Ponsonby Real Estate, until 1980 when he sold it to a colleague.
He has worked in Ponsonby and the adjoining areas since he started in real estate so has seen unbelievable changes in the value of properties in those areas.
As well as selling residential properties he has sold many commercial and investment properties such as factories, blocks of flats, boarding houses, hotels and motels.
